The charging speed is slower with the wireless chargers. According to WPC (Wireless Power Consortium), Qi is the wireless charging standard for providing 5-15 watts of power to electronics.
Due to the limitations of current wireless charging technology, its charging speed is slower than the wired ones.
And WPC members are working to increase the power profile for the Qi standard to safely accommodate higher power levels.
